Bluence was founded in 2025 with a simple but powerful conviction: the ocean connects us all. Not as a boundary, but as a shared space that unites communities, cultures, and futures across every border. If we looked at the world not as landmasses divided by water, but as an ocean that holds us together, we might act with greater collective purpose.
Bluence operates through two independent organizations sharing one mission: Bluence Ventures, a profit-for-purpose social enterprise consultancy, and Bluence Sostenible, a nonprofit advancing community-centered programs. Together, we combine commercial expertise with social impact to build a stronger blue economy. Based in Lima with representation in Washington D.C.
Our work brings together development practice and ocean passion. For over 15 years, our team has supported women's economic empowerment, civic participation, and community-led change across Latin America and beyond. Bluence is where that experience found its focus.

Our financial sustainability model combines consulting revenue, grants, international cooperation, and donations. Ventures reinvests part of its profits into business growth and contributes part to Sostenible's nonprofit programs.
